Inteligencia Artificial con propósito: Como implementar el uso ético en tu organización.

El jueves, 17 de septiembre, el Puerto Rico Minority Supplier Development Council (PRMSDC) llevó a cabo en modalidad híbrida el taller “Inteligencia Artificial con Propósito: Cómo implementar un uso ético en tu organización”, presentado por el Dr. Eliezer Pérez Soto, Founder de Humanix, Co-Founder de T&T Management Group / Boosting Your Future y Profesor.

Durante la sesión, los participantes exploraron los principales retos y oportunidades que presenta la inteligencia artificial en el entorno empresarial, con énfasis en la importancia de integrar principios éticos, gobernanza y supervisión humana en su implementación. Se discutieron temas como los sesgos algorítmicos, la privacidad de los datos, la transparencia, la rendición de cuentas y la necesidad de desarrollar políticas organizacionales que promuevan un uso responsable de la IA. Además, se presentaron marcos de referencia internacionales, incluyendo la Recomendación de la UNESCO sobre la Ética de la Inteligencia Artificial, y se compartieron herramientas y buenas prácticas para ayudar a las organizaciones a prepararse para una transformación digital ética y sostenible.

On Thursday, September 17, the Puerto Rico Minority Supplier Development Council (PRMSDC) hosted the hybrid workshop “Purpose-Driven Artificial Intelligence: How to Implement the Ethical Use of AI in Your Organization,” presented by Dr. Eliezer Pérez Soto, Founder of Humanix, Co-Founder of T&T Management Group / Boosting Your Future, and Professor.

During the session, participants explored the key opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence presents in today’s business environment, with a strong emphasis on integrating ethical principles, governance, and human oversight into AI implementation. Topics included algorithmic bias, data privacy, transparency, accountability, and the importance of developing organizational policies that promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence. The workshop also introduced international frameworks, including the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, and shared practical tools and best practices to help organizations prepare for an ethical and sustainable digital transformation.
