Under this role, Reina is responsible for executing initiatives toward the creation of synergies between Multinational companies and certified suppliers. She supports Corporate Members through the Council services, creating long lasting relations that benefit the inclusion of minority businesses in the members supply chain.

During her 15 years’ career in the Puerto Rico MSDC she has been actively involved in supporting all the pillars our organization stands for. Reina oversees the certification process compliance, in support to the Certification Pillar; she is key in implementing the knowledge transfer initiatives to our constituents through trainings, forums, roundtables, workshops, seminars and orientations, in support to the Development Pillar; she is a proactive leader in developing and joining efforts to procure connecting events that create and develop business partnerships, in support to our Connect Pillar.  She is a fierce advocate of the Council-supporting our Advocacy Pillar-, usually invited to speak by other organizations, both private and public, about its mission and relevance.

Reina is one of the most experienced executives in certification across the network. She is the speaker in many of the Council’s events not only because of her communications skills but for her knowledge in the Corporate inclusion and diverse programs. She also supports many of the local council committees, as the Certification Committee and the Minority Business Input Committee among others.

Reina has over 30 years’ experience in business management. She has been Comptroller, Business Development Manager and Operations Manager in different industries as housing management, restaurant chain and in the security industry. She has been also a small business owner herself.
